Welcome to the Commercial Gym Strongman program! This is the program that I used before my World's Strongest Man debut in 2022, when training with Strongman Specific equipment wasn't an option for me. If you’re wondering whether Strongman training is right for you, this program will help you find out, and if your already in the sport... get ready to become stronger then ever before. Designed to be done in a commercial gym, it covers all the essential Strongman movement patterns: push, pull, carry, overhead press, squat, and hinge.
These six movements are not only fundamental to Strongman but are also crucial for everyday life. Think of this program not just as Strongman training, but as a way to become as robust, resilient, and strong as possible. Whether you want to compete in Strongman in the future or simply enhance your overall fitness, this program is for you.

I’ve been working out for about 3 years and this is the first program I’ve ran. Really well balanced with recovery. Some of the rep ranges feel high and don’t feel like they scale very well, 30 kettlebell swings one week into 33 the next week feels like it’s not adding a lot to the overall progression. Also it’s hard to judge rpe 7-10 when in the 30+ rep range. Also the barbell loaded back extension is hard to set up, especially for multiple sets. Emphasis on shuttle runs is interesting and great for hiit cardio. This program also did make me miss bench pressing, but it makes sense that that’s not an emphasis for strongman.
I've dabbled between powerlifting, hypertrophy and powerbuilding and never really got what I needed from them.
This programme keeps me on my toes with a really good mix of strength and grip training along with a decent amount of cardio which was always missing.
Can't wait to see what happens by the end of 12 weeks but so far so good and feeling solid!
I purchased this as an introduction to Strongman, I’m two weeks into the program and my body is finally starting to adjust to the change in lifting from powerbuilding. Workload is perfect, finish everything in about 1 hour.
I’ll follow up with some pictures and progress at the end of the 12 weeks, which also happens to be my first Strongman Comp.
Very well explained and thought out , great workout.
I have been using the program for a couple of weeks and it is excellent, I have finish before the power building program, all programs are very well thought
