12 Weeks to Unstoppable Strength
The Hercules Program is a complete 12-week training and education system built to make you bigger, stronger, and more functional than ever before. Whether you want to dominate the barbell, move like an athlete, or build the kind of real-world strength that carries into everyday life, this program is for you.
What’s Inside:
Phase 1: Absolute Strength (Weeks 1–4)
Build a rock-solid foundation with the big lifts—squat, bench, deadlift, and barbell variations—to maximize your raw power.
Phase 2: Relative Strength (Weeks 5–8)
Improve your strength-to-bodyweight ratio and develop the athleticism to control and move your body like never before.
Phase 3: Functional Strength (Weeks 9–12)
Train like a strongman. Awkward objects, unconventional lifts, and unique variations to build strength that translates into real life.
Education That Lasts a Lifetime
Alongside the training, you’ll get a 12-week educational program that teaches you the fundamentals of strength, movement, and performance. Apply these lessons, and you’ll be set up not just for 12 weeks of progress—but a lifetime of strength gains.
Who It’s For:
- Lifters who want to get bigger and stronger with purpose
- Athletes looking to build power that translates to performance
- Anyone who wants to train like the World’s Strongest Man and unlock their inner Hercules
Train hard. Train smart. Train like Hercules.

I’ve historically had a traditional U/L split, training 4 times per week. Although, I was still making strength progress, it was getting a little stale on my old program. Starting this program has given me a new excitement for getting in the gym and has me trying things/movements I usually wouldn’t. Really clear and great value and love the functional element.
TLDR;
This is the third Moose Coaching program I've explored. It's the first that I've taken the time to review because it's the third of three that demonstrates persistent, common, and honestly silly typos, mistakes, and lack of attention to detail.
If you are a detail-oriented person, you may struggle to be "sold" on this program as one that is truly designed to help you - because it's riddled with errors, typos, and mistakes that make it feel like a hastily-constructed money grab by Mitch Hooper. If you AREN'T a detail-oriented person (or you can put that on pause), this program is a good challenge for strongman-focused athletes who want to base-build, increase cardio health and explosiveness, and maximize strength pound-for-pound. If it works, who cares if it feels like a money grab?

THE CONS
++ The masthead in the excel file reads "Hurcules Fit" - you would hope the Moose Coaching team would know how to spell "Hercules" correctly throughout for a program named after the guy.
++ Some of the videos linked that demonstrate exercises feature Hooper talking through how to do an exercise, but he flubs his words - says "wait hold on" - pauses, resets, and goes again. You'd think the demonstration videos would just be more...polished. Just cut the "bad take" and use the good footage.
++ One of the tabs reads "funcational strength" - I literally googled that word just to be sure I wasn't an uninformed idiot who didn't know what that was. Turns out, it's not a word. It's just another typo - for "functional" strength.
These examples, plus many more, demonstrate a lack of attention to detail that leads folks (like me) to believe that Moose Coaching is just churning out hurriedly scribbled programs that have zero quality review. Why should I trust that it will work if it's author isn't paying attention to the details? It sows distrust from the moment you open the excel file - and makes you feel like Moose Coaching wasn't thinking critically enough about the program to catch its most glaring mistakes before asking you to pay money for it.
So, if it's important to you that you feel valued for paying money to someone as their customer, you will be disappointed with the end product's attention to detail. If you don't care about "feeling valued" as long as it works, then the next section is for you.

THE PROS
Truthfully, the pros are that - Mitch also gives away TONS of free resources. If you feel like the lack of "attention to detail" made this not worth the money, go download all his other free stuff and "get your money back."
The other truth of it is that - obviously it's hard to argue against a program written by former WSM Mitch Hooper. So what if he misspells Hercules everywhere? Who cares if it's a money grab? The "ends" here are that you will get stronger if you do the program and hold yourself accountable.
The higher RPEs and shorter rest times underscore the goal of the program - get strong and endure. As a 31 year old with a lot of "life stress", what will REALLY push you (or limit you) with this program is your ability to recover quickly enough to squeeze in 5 intense days a week, every week. Even the first block, "Absolute Strength", highlighted for me, quickly, what my true weaknesses were.
It then spends the next several weeks asking you to correct those weaknesses to maximize the "balance" of your strength. If your triceps or brachialis are weak, the variations of pressing will demonstrate that eventually and work to correct it. If you can't recover between sets, you'll figure that out right away and figure out a way to adapt.
Very structured and detailed.
I have bought 6 programs for my son and we love them they push us hard they we have been pushed before. Ram Strength
Great program that has helped me find some focus in training and pushes me to my limit with each workout.
